Zipper fractal approximants generalize the existing fractal and classical\napproximations through its parameters signature and variable scalings. Some\nelementary results in the classical approximation theory are extended to the class of\nzipper fractal approximants. Parameter identification problems are taken to preserve\nfundamental shapes by zipper fractal functions.
