Artificial Intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming a powerful double- edged sword. Some have compared it to the nuclear bomb and others fear existential threat from it. Governments are racing to regulate AI through executive orders and legislation. This talk will present some of the potential risks and outstanding benefits of AI. The talk will conclude with the argument that each one of us is responsible for using AI responsibly – not just governments or the technology itself. In fact, one of the possible responsible uses of AI the talk will present is to apply AI for regulating the government and as citizens, strive to achieve better governance.
